Our goal for the „Connect it E“ cables was, to create neutral audiophile cables for a reasonable price. We focused on quality core materials like a copper conductor for a signal transmission without losses. All E-Line connectors, including our True Balanced mini XLR plugs, feature gold-plated brass connectors to ensure a long-lasting ideal conductivity. The line & phono cables, except the True Balanced cables, are semi-symmetrical type cables, which means that the shielding is only connected on one end. Therefore, the yellow marked side should always be connected to the receiving end.

Flexible OFC copper conductor & phosphor-bronze gold plated connectors

The „Connect it S“ cables use an oxygen-free-copper conductor which ensures a perfect signal transmission. Therefore, the cable capacity is very low to keep the signal clean and open sounding. All S-Line connectors, including our True Balanced mini XLR plugs, feature gold-plated phosphor-bronze connectors to ensure a long-lasting ideal conductivity. The line & phono cables, except the True Balanced cables, are semi-symmetrical type cables, which means that the shielding is only connected on one end. Therefore, the blue marked side should always be connected to the central grounding point or the receiving end.

Flexible high purity OFC copper conductor with silver plated connectors

The „Connect it DS“ signal cables use a high purity OFC copper conductor. Its low capacity makes them perfect for phono applications. The shielding is done with a OFC copper helix with a carbon saturated conductive sub-jacket which offers a perfect protection, but also great cable flexibility. All DS-Line connectors use silver plated signal pins, which offers a higher conductivity with the lowest contact resistance compared to gold. As you may know from your silver knives and forks at home, silver can oxidate. Don‘t worry, this is just an optical issue, because silver oxide is as conductive as silver itself.

Pure silver conductor with copper rhodium plated connectors and carbon isolated housing

The „Connect it RS“ signal cables use a pure silver conductor for highest conductivity over the whole frequency range. This means that all musical information is preserved and the cable transfers its signal completely neutral without any colouration. Compared to copper, silver does not attenuate the high frequencies, which results in a more detailed and open sound stage. Especially for small phono signals in the millivolt range, the ultra low capacity is a mandatory for a clean signal transmission. The shielding is done with a pure silver coated OFC helix with a  conductive sub-jacket which offers a perfect protection, but also great cable flexibility. All RS-Line connectors feature rhodium plated copper signal pins and are covered by a non-conductive carbon housing.
